One of two arsonists is seen throwing what appears to be a Molotov cocktail into a truck belonging to Just Right Trucking & Trash Removal LLC.
ST. CROIX — Surveillance footage has revealed two masked individuals setting fires to vehicles and equipment at Just Right Trucking in Orange Grove during the early hours of January 12. The V.I. Police Department said it is actively investigating the incident, which occurred at approximately 4:06 a.m.
According to VIPD Director of Communications Glen Dratte, the police department was alerted to the arson at approximately 4:37 a.m. after reports of fires at the trucking company. The surveillance footage, seen here, shows the suspects dressed in dark clothing as they intentionally ignited multiple fires on the property before fleeing the scene.
Law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals involved. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Economic Crimes Unit at (340) 778-2211 ext. 6149, the 911 Emergency Call Center, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8476.
The VIPD has not yet identified any suspects or made arrests. The department continues to analyze the surveillance footage and gather evidence as part of its ongoing investigation.
