St. Thomas Woman Arrested for Allegedly Removing Firearm From Crime Scene

ST. THOMAS — Police on Friday at approximately 8:10 p.m. arrested Desiree Brown, age 37 of Estate Pearl for allegedly removing a firearm from a crime scene, announced police spokesman Toby Derima Saturday.

She was charged her with possession of an unlicensed firearm, accessory after the fact, misprision of felony, concealment of evidence, and compounding crime.

Mr. Derima said Brown was seen on surveillance camera removing a hidden firearm used in a disturbance at a local restaurant in Contant on July 29.

Unable to make bail of $50,000, she was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advisement hearing.
