ST. THOMAS — Daron O. Babrow was apprehended at Cyril E. King Airport on Thursday by officers with the V.I. Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau, following the revelation that he was a fugitive from justice.
According to the VIPD, Babrow, age 47, is wanted in the State of Ohio on charges of attempted grand theft and breaking and entering.
The suspect was arrested at around 4:00 p.m. following which he was booked and processed. It was decided by a presiding judge of the V.I. Superior Court that no bail would be granted in his case, given the serious nature of the alleged offenses.
The arrest came as a result of diligent work by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
