St. Thomas Man Arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle

ST. THOMAS — Police arrested and charged 31-year-old Kwanza Pasha George of Paul M. Pearson Gardens on Sunday evening with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima, the victim of this incident reported that on March 19, she was sitting at home and observed an individual drive away with her vehicle without permission, and later noticed that her car keys were missing from inside her residence. 

The vehicle was later recovered Sunday in Estate Canaan and Sherpenjewel, and George was positively identified as the individual who stole the car.

Unable to make bail of $25,000, George was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
