ST. CROIX — V.I.P.D. detectives with the Economic Crimes Unit on Sunday traveled to Orlando, FL to extradite and arrest Bernadette Gordon-Rivera, age 36 of Estate Profit, on a warrant for drawing and delivering worthless checks, obtaining money by false pretenses, and grand larceny, the V.I. Police Department announced Wednesday.
According to V.I.P.D. Ms. Gordon-Rivera subsequently left the territory, but was brought back to face justice.
Unable to make bail of $50,000, she was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending her advisement hearing.
