ST. CROIX — A man was shot dead during the wee hours of Friday morning in the area of the Frontline Bar & Grill, the V.I. Police Department has announced.
V.I.P.D. Director of Communications Glen Dratte said the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers at 12:45 a.m. to Frontline, located in Estate Colquohoun regarding a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Upon officers' arrival at the scene, they found the body of a male individual with no vital signs lying on the ground. The V.I. Police Department did not provide more details about the shooting.
No suspect has been identified, according to Mr. Dratte.
The individual was identified by next of kin as 43-year-old Randy A. Lockhart.
