ST. THOMAS — The V.I.P.D. said Wednesday that it was investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred Wednesday in St. Thomas.
According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima, on Jan. 8 at approximately 12:52 p.m., a female victim reported to police that she was sexually assaulted. The victim stated that she went out with a male acquaintance and when he dropped her home, he forcibly sexually assaulted her.
This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Mr. Derima said.
