ST. THOMAS — Two masked gunmen entered the Rosa's Place Restaurant in Anna's Fancy, St. Thomas on Monday afternoon and robbed the restaurant's employees of their money and other personal belongings, the V.I. Police Department has announced.
According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima, on Monday at about 1:05 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified of an armed robbery that had occurred at the restaurant.
The initial report said that two unknown suspects dressed in all black with masks covering their faces entered the establishment through the rear entrance. Once inside, the suspects took money and other personal items from the business’s employees at gunpoint, then exited the establishment and fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction, according to Mr. Derima.
Mr. Derima said a V.I.P.D. investigation was ongoing.
