ST. THOMAS — Thieves in St. Thomas stole four scooters and a dirt bike from the business establishment Sunshine Scooter, Jeep and Car Rentals, in St. Thomas last week, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
According to the police report, on June 22 at about 11:00 a.m., police were dispatched to Sunshine Scooters, located at Mandela Circle, regarding a burglary.
The business owner reported that the business was locked and secured at 9 p.m. on June 20. Upon return on the at 9 a.m. on June 22, it was discovered that the business was burglarized. Four scooters and a dirt bike were removed from the business.
The V.I.P.D. is asking anyone with any information regarding this crime to contact police by calling 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 extension 5608 or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-8477.
