ST. CROIX — The V.I. Police Department has launched an investigation after a woman was found unresponsive inside a residence in the South Grapetree area of Christiansted on Friday evening.
According to police, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report at approximately 6:25 p.m. on November 14, 2025, from a citizen who said an unresponsive female had been discovered inside a home. Officers were immediately dispatched to the location, accompanied by Emergency Medical Technicians.
EMTs assessed the woman upon arrival and determined that she showed no signs of life.
The deceased has been identified by next of kin as 59-year-old Eva Ramon. The VIPD says the case remains under active investigation.
