ST. CROIX — A shooting in Mon Bijou Tuesday night left one man dead, according to a police report. V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima said the incident was reported to the 911 emergency call center at about 10:55 p.m.
According to the report, a concerned resident contacted 911 about shots fired in the area. The concerned resident also stated that there was a male victim who was on the ground at the scene of the shooting.
Emergency Medical Technicians arrived to the location, examined the victim's body and found no vital signs. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
The victim's identity was being withheld pending next of kin notification.
