The V.I.P.D. late Tuesday reported two crime incidents, including a gunpoint robbery at the movie theater in St. Thomas that involved a minor male victim, and a carjacking incident in Golden Rock on St. Croix involving a female victim.
Minor Robbed of Jewelry at Gunpoint in St. Thomas
According to the V.I.P.D, on Sunday at 2:00 p.m., detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to the Newton Command Police Station in reference to an armed robbery that occurred February 26 in the vicinity of Caribbean Cinemas.
The minor male victim told police that he was at the movie theater with his friends and family when he was approached by several males wearing ski masks. One of the suspects then placed a gun to the victim's head and told him to remove and hand over his gold Gucci chain. The victim did as he was told and the suspects fled the area in a dark colored Acura, according to the V.I.P.D.
The matter is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Woman Carjacked in Parking Lot of Condominium on St. Croix
Officers on Monday at 10:12 p.m. were dispatched by the 911 Emergency Call Center to investigate a report of a robbery that occurred at the Mill Harbour Condominium in Estate Golden Rock.
According to the V.I.P.D., officers spoke with the victim who stated that after she parked and exited her vehicle in the northern parking lot, two unknown male individuals approached her, drew a firearm, and pointed it at her while demanding that she hand over her bag and her vehicle's keys.
The victim stated that the armed male individual took the belongings and both of them entered the vehicle and drove out of Mill Harbour Condominium at a high rate of speed.
The victim described the two male individuals to be approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, African American, dark in complexion and wearing black clothing. They also wore black t-shirts over their face, according to the victim.
She described her vehicle as being a teal, 2014 Toyota Yaris bearing license plate number CFS-350 with no unique features.
