Masked Men Rob Estate Mariendahl Resident at Gunpoint at His Home

ST. THOMAS — Three masked men armed with handguns robbed a man in Estate Mariendahl late January 31st, the V.I. Police Department has reported.

The victim said that he arrived at his home at about midnight when an unknown male with a shirt covering his face jumped out of a vehicle and attempted to steal his jewelry. The victim resisted, and three other unknown males with their faces covered exited the same vehicle and pointed handguns at him. The first suspect then removed the victim’s jewelry, and the suspects left the area in an unknown direction, police said.

The incident has been deemed a first-degree robbery and police say it remains under investigation.
