ST. CROIX — Edictor "Puddy" Esquillin, 34, was arrested Wednesday at about 10:39 a.m. on a warrant for first-degree attempted murder, the V.I. Police Department has made known.
Esquillin, from Concordia West, was identified as the individual who stabbed a victim on Nov. 19, 2019 causing injuries that required medical attention out of the territory.
Esquillin turned himself in to police after learning of the warrant for his arrest, according to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima.
Unable to make bail of $75,000, Esquillin was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advisement hearing.
