Man Stabbed in Dorothea Grocery Store After Following Argument

ST. THOMAS — The V.I. Police Department said a man was stabbed during an altercation at the Nidal Grocery Store in Estate Dorothea on Thursday evening. 

According to a police statement, officers were dispatched to the store shortly after 5 p.m. An investigation found that an argument between two males ensued inside of the grocery escalated into a physical altercation. The victim was stabbed several times about the body with a knife. The suspect left the scene.

No information about the identity or medical condition of the victim was released.
