ST. THOMAS — A man who was sitting in his vehicle in Estate Nisky on Wednesday was robbed by two armed men wearing masks, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
According to the police report, on Wednesday at approximately 5:52 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Estate Nisky regarding a robbery.
The victim reported that he was seated in his vehicle when he was approached by two masked males who appeared to be armed. The suspects demanded his money and took a bag that contained cash. The suspects left the area in a white Jeep Wrangler that was later found in Contact Knolls, Mr. Derima said.
The VIPD is asking for the community’s assistance in finding these suspects. Anyone with any information regarding this crime is urged to contact 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 extension 5579 or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-8477.
