ST. THOMAS — A man was shot while in Contant at an establishment and was rushed to the Schneider Regional Medical Center (SRMC) for treatment.
According to a V.I.P.D. news release, on Wednesday at about at 6:19 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified of a male gunshot victim receiving treatment at SRMC. The victim told police that he was at an establishment in Contant when he heard gunshots and realized that he had been shot. The victim said he did not know who shot him.
