ST. CROIX — Gunshots shattered the windows of a vehicle heading west on Wednesday from La Grange Road to Wheel of Fortune in Frederiksted, police said.
An unidentified man walked into the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station on Wednesday at about 5:30 pm, to report the incident. He told police he did not know who fired the shots.
“The victim then realized he was cut from broken glass in the incident. The victim’s vehicle sustained multiple bullet holes on the passenger side as a result of the shooting. The victim was transported to Juan Luis Hospital from the police station by ambulance for treatment,” according to a police statement on the shooting incident.
