Man Jailed After Breaking Into a Home and Assaulting Victim, Police Say

ST. CROIX — On Monday at roughly 5:32 a.m., police arrested Joshua Felder, age 42 of Grange Hill, after he was identified as the man who broke into a residence and assaulted the victim with a sharp object, causing visible injuries.

According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima, Felder was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, carrying or using a dangerous weapon, destruction to property, and damage to a vehicle.

Unable to post bail of $75,000, Felder was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advisement hearing.
