Man in Critical Condition After Being Shot Multiple Times in Lindbergh Bay

ST. THOMAS — A man was listed in critical condition after being shot several times Wednesday night in Lindbergh Bay, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.

According to the release, on Wednesday at about 8:13 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of shots fired in Lindbergh Bay, in the vicinity of Trailer City.

Police later learned that a male victim was transported to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center via private vehicle for treatment. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was listed in critical condition.

Mr. Derima said the case was being investigated. The V.I.P.D. is asking anyone with information about this shooting to contact police by calling 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 extension 5579, or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-8477.
