ST. CROIX — A man is in critical condition and a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting Friday afternoon at Moe's Service Station in Estate Glynn, according to the V.I. Police Department.
The 911 Emergency Call Center received a report from a concerned citizen at approximately 12:45 p.m. on July 24 that a man had been shot in the head in the parking lot of the service station.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman inside a black SUV, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said the man sustained a gunshot wound to the head, while the woman was grazed by a bullet.
Both victims were transported to Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment. Police said the man remains in critical condition, while the woman's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation.
