Man Reports Being Assaulted, Restrained in his Estate Whim Home; Police Investigating

ST. CROIX — Police are investigating a reported home invasion and assault that occurred Monday at about 10:40 a.m. in Estate Whim 

According to police spokesman Tony Derima, the victim reported that he was at his residence when three unknown males with guns forced their way into the home. 

The victim said he tried to defend himself, but the suspects overpowered and restrained him. The victim further stated that the men searched the residence prior to fleeing in a vehicle. He explained that he managed to catch a ride to the Frederiksted Health Care Clinic after freeing himself. He was later transported to the Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center for further treatment.
