ST. CROIX — Law enforcement officers on Friday executed a search warrant in Estate White Lady, arresting Aliek J. Hatchett, age 20 of Estate Whim. He was charged with possession of stolen property, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
Hatchett was in possession of an item belonging to the victim that was kidnapped from downtown Frederiksted on Wednesday.
Unable to post bail of $25,000, Hatchet was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
