Man Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges for Allegedly Inappropriately Touching Minor

ST. CROIX — V.I.P.D. officers on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly touching a minor inappropriately, police spokesman Toby Derima has announced.

According to the news release, detectives arrested 47-year-old Kevin Moran of Estate Boetzberg on and charged him with first-degree unlawful sexual contact, aggravated assault and battery, simple assault and battery, and selling or serving alcoholic beverages to minors.

Moran is accused of inappropriately touching a minor on December 11, 2020. The suspect declined to give a statement, according to the police report. No further information about the case was provided, according to Mr. Derima.

Unable to post bail of $75,000, Moran was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
