ST. JOHN — A man was arrested after turning himself in Friday for allegedly stabbing an individual on Dec. 8.
According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima, on Friday at 12:51 p.m., Gregory B. Louis, Jr., age 26 of Enighed Contant was arrested after turning himself and charged with third-degree assault, simple assault, and disturbance of the peace in connection with a stabbing incident outside of an establishment on Prince Street, Cruz Bay on December 8.
Although the victim did not cooperate with police, the incident was captured on surveillance video, says the V.I.P.D. news release.
Unable to make bail of $25,000, Louis was turned over the the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
