ST. THOMAS — Twenty-eight-year-old Chandler Heath of Estate Thomas was arrested Tuesday at about 5:08 p.m. and charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence, according to police.
The victim reported that she was assaulted by Heath, who is her daughter’s father, on February 29. She stated that Heath came to her residence and strangled her as she opened her door, leaving her with minor injuries.
Bail was not offered to Heath as per the local domestic violence statutes, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
