Man Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Minor on Multiple Occasions

ST. CROIX — Police have arrested Peter's Rest resident Jeremiah Stubbs, 38, and charged him with first-degree unlawful sexual contact, domestic violence, for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor on multiple occasions.

The arrest of Stubbs was made on Saturday, according to police spokesman Toby Derima.

According to the police report, on June 17, the Department of Human Services reported that a minor was sexually assaulted by Stubbs on more than one occasion. 

Stubbs was not offered bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence statutes. He was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
