ST. CROIX — Police have arrested 58-year-old Raymond Ward of Sion Hill for third-degree assault after allegedly assaulting an elderly neighbor, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
Ward is alleged to have assaulted his neighbor, an elderly male, on March 29. The victim required medical attention at the Juan Francisco Luis Hospital and Medical Center for a laceration to the head and a broken arm, among other injuries, from the incident.
Unable to make bail of $30,000, Ward was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advisement hearing.
