ST. THOMAS — V.I.P.D. officers on Saturday at approximately 4:10 p.m. placed 40-year-old Youhan Lawrence of Bellevue under arrest and charged him with third-degree assault.
According to police spokesman Toby Derima, an investigation revealed that Lawrence pointed a firearm at two people on July 30.
Unable to post bail of $25,000, Lawrence was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
