Man Allegedly Forces Himself Inside Home of Victim, Beats and Rapes Her; Police Investigating

ST. THOMAS — A woman on Saturday told police she was attacked by an assailant who forced himself into her home and proceeded to physically and sexually assault her before exiting the residence. 

According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima, on Saturday at at approximately 7:30 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to the Schneider Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in reference to an alleged rape incident.

The victim described the suspect as a black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, heavy built, with an approximate weight of 220 pounds, according to Mr. Derima. The victim stated that the suspect wore all black clothing, and forced his way into the residence. The victim reported being physically and sexually assaulted by the suspect before his departure.
