California Woman Arrested at Cyril E. King Airport on Probation Warrant

ST. THOMAS — Raquel Antoinette Huff, age 24 of Oakland, California was flagged by Customs and Border Protection at the Cyril E. King Airport Friday afternoon for having an active probation warrant in the state of Minnesota, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.

Ms. Huff was detained by VIPD detectives and transported to the Alexander Farrelly Justice Complex, where they confirmed that the State of Minnesota had a warrant for her arrest for failing to report to probation as directed.

Officials in Minnesota stated that they will extradite Ms. Huff and requested that she not be offered bail. Ms. Huff was then placed under arrest and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending her extradition hearing.
