Another Gunpoint Robbery Incident Reported at Havensight

ST. THOMAS — Another gunpoint robbery incident has occurred at the Havensight Mall in St. Thomas, police spokesman Toby Derima has announced.

According to the V.I.P.D. news release,  on Saturday at 10:34 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Havensight Mall to investigate the robbery of a male victim. The victim, accompanied by two females, was allegedly approached by a male suspect wearing a red hoodie who attempted to rob him of his jewelry. The suspect and the victim were engaged in a physical altercation when a second male suspect, attired in a black hoodie, approached the two with a handgun, according to the release.

The suspects, driving a gray sedan, managed to flee the area with the victim’s jewelry, according to police. None of the victims were harmed.
