ST. CROIX — Seven Lenovo laptops, 6 Chromebooks and 1 DVR system with an estimated total cost of $6,000 were stolen from the John H. Woodson Junior High School on Thursday, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
According to Mr. Derima, on Thursday at approximately 9:52 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a burglary at Woodson where the aforementioned items were stolen.
No other information was divulged, hinting that the V.I.P.D. as of Sunday had yet to identify potential suspects. Mr. Derima said the case is under investigation.
The V.I.P.D. is asking anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrator or perpetrators, to contact Crime Stoppers USVI with an anonymous tip here.
