ST. CROIX — A 14-year-old boy was held at gunpoint Wednesday morning while multiple suspects rummaged through his parents' residence, stealing all sorts of valuable items, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima announced Sunday.

According to the V.I.P.D. news release, on Wednesday at 9:04 a.m., officers were dispatched by the 911 Emergency Call Center to investigate a robbery at Old Fredensborg Village.

The victim, a 14-year-old boy, reported that he was alone at his residence when he was forcibly held at gunpoint while electronics, jewelry, and cash were stolen.

The investigation revealed the suspects entered the residence through an unsecured door, Mr. Derima said.
