ST. THOMAS — Eleven vehicles were reported stolen from a St. Thomas car rental agency on Friday, according police.
The V.I. Police Department said an access date to the rental car parking lot was secured by an employee after closing. The next morning, nearly a dozen late-model vehicles were missing.
According to police, four of the stole vehicles have been recovered.
Authorities did not identify the car rental agency company involved.
The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
