Two incidents reported by the V.I.P.D. on Friday left separate individuals injured -- one including an argument that led to a stabbing, and a domestic issue that saw a woman being dragged down a flight of stairs.
According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte, on February 18, a woman reported to police that a male acquaintance named Felipe Jimenez Caraballo, seen below, broke into her neighbor’s house, which the female victim was occupying. He then assaulted her by dragging her outside and down a flight of stairs, according to police. The woman sustained bruises on her arm, leg and thigh from the assault, Mr. Dratte said.

On Friday, Mr. Caraballo turned himself in and was charged with first-degree burglary and domestic violence charges. He was then remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing, according to police.
Separately, on Thursday, V.I.P.D. officers with the Mariel C. Newton Command were dispatched to the area of Estate Mariendahl in reference to a stabbing.
Upon arrival to the location, officers saw a man with a stab wound to his right, upper thigh, who was then transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment.
38-year-old Richard Fahie (V.I.P.D.)
A preliminary investigation revealed that the altercation started from an argument which led to the suspect, later identified as 38-year-old Richard Fahie, seen above, stabbing the victim, according to police.
At 7:00 a.m. on Friday, Mr. Fahie traveled to the Richard N. Callwood Command and turned himself in. He was charged with third-degree assault and using/carrying a dangerous weapon.
Unable to make bail of $25,000, Mr. Fahie was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
