ST. THOMAS — Detectives from the V.I. Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau on Wednesday arrested 48-year-old Jermain Turnbull and 52-year-old Zeff Blyden, after warrants were secured on March 22, 2023, in connection with an illicit content investigation.
The case began on December 19, 2022, when detectives were dispatched to Cowpet Bay West to look into an incident where individuals were found to have video images or videos featuring illicit sexual content.
Turnbull turned himself in at the U.S. Marshal's Office in the Ron DeLugo Federal Building and was taken into custody without incident. Later that day, Blyden, accompanied by legal counsel, surrendered at the Richard Callwood Command. Both men were arrested, booked, and processed, with bail set at $20,000 each.
The case remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
