Vax-to-Win Lottery Winners in both the general and school-based offerings.
A V.I. Lottery official joined Governor Albert Bryan during Monday's Covid-19 press briefing to reveal the latest winners of the administration's "Vax-to-Win" lottery incentive, this time including the first set of winners of the special lottery for school-based personnel.
Last week winners (the week of August 6) were revealed to be Ione Noel on St. Croix, who won the $100,000, and Barbra Ortega in the St. Thomas-St. John District, who won $50,000, as she had only received one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine at the time of the drawing.
For the school-based personnel drawings, the St. Croix District winners were:
- Joseph Auguste (St. Croix Educational Complex): $25,000
- Henry Awika (University of the Virgin Islands): $10,000
- Minerva Delauney (St. Croix Central High School) $5,000
School-based personnel drawing winners in the St. Thomas-St. John District were:
