On Wednesday, the Dept. of Health confirmed the third case of the virus in the territory, with two cases being confirmed in the St. Thomas-St. John District, and one case on St. Croix. D.O.H. did not provide additional information about the cases.
So far, according to the Dept. of Health, three cases have tested positive and three cases negative for the deadly pathogen. Mr. Bryan said last night he expects the numbers to climb.
“Unfortunately, we know that we will have more cases in the territory. We expect that at least two additional cases will be confirmed positive based on the proximity of those individuals to the territory’s first two cases," the governor said.
