118th Covid-19 Death Recorded on St. Croix, D.O.H. Says

The V.I. Dept. of Health on Friday announced the 118th death in the U.S. Virgin Islands related to Covid-19.

"After further investigating cause of death and ensuring notification of next of kin, the Virgin Islands Department of Health is saddened to confirm the territory’s one hundred and eighteenth (118) death related to COVID-19. The deceased is a 75-year-old male on St. Croix," D.O.H. said in a relase.

The health department continued to stress that getting a Covid-19 vaccine can prevent severe illness and death. To schedule an appointment, call (340) 777-8227 or visit covid19usvi.com/vaccines. Walk-ins are also accepted at our Community Vaccination Centers.

St. Croix’s Community Vaccination Center is located at the Charles Harwood Memorial Complex on St. Croix and is available for vaccines and boosters Monday - Friday 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.

On St. Thomas the Community Vaccination Center is located at the Community Health Clinic on the 2nd floor at the Schneider Regional Medical Center and provides vaccines and boosters Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
