Department Of Labor Accepting Applications For Students Interested In Summer Jobs

The Department of Labor (D.O.L.) is now accepting applications for its long-standing Labor Investing For Tomorrow (LIFT) summer internship program, the department’s acting Commissioner-designee, Gary Molloy has announced. Now in its 30th year, the LIFT program continues to provide college juniors, seniors, and graduate students with meaningful work/internship experience in their chosen career field. Interns can gain college credits, acquire hands on–training, and the opportunity to network with professionals in their respective careers. LIFT interns will be paid $12 per hour, based on number of years in school, the D.O.L. release said. Participants will work 35 hours weekly for approximately 6-8weeks.
