ST. CROIX — Limetree Bay Terminals, LLC in conjunction with Port Hamilton Refining and Transportation will conduct an annual Security, Emergency Response and Deployment Exercise on Tuesday, according to a release from Limetree Bay Terminals.
According to the release, the annual exercise provides an opportunity for its participants to test their emergency response strategies and validate their emergency plans. The exercise starts at 8:00 a.m.
As part of the preparedness drill, Limetree Bay's Incident Command will be activated, and the public may hear alarms and/or notice emergency response activity near the Limetree Bay facility.
Local and federal agencies will also be participating in the annual exercise, and no action is required from individuals who are not a part of the drill, according to the release. The public is advised that this is a planned exercise.
