Woman From England Last Seen on Boat in St. John Waters is Reported Missing; Coast Guard, V.I.P.D. Launch Search Effort

Sarm Joan Lillian Heslop By. THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT

ST. JOHN — The V.I. Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating 41-year-old Sarm Joan Lillian Heslop, who was reported missing on March 8, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.

Heslop is a Caucasian female with an unknown height and weight with a tattoo on her left shoulder, according to the V.I.P.D. Heslop is from Hertford, England and was reported missing by her companion who she lives with on a boat, said Mr. Derima. Heslop was last seen in their vessel, Siren Song which was moored off the coast of St. John. Details relative to the circumstances behind her disappearance were scarce at time of writing. She was reported missing by her companion.

The V.I.P.D. and the Coast Guard launched a search for Heslop yesterday, said Mr. Derima. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Heslop is urged to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-TIPS. "You are urged to say something, if you saw something," said the police force.
