The V.I. Dept. of Public Works has been aggressively paving roads across the U.S. Virgin Islands since sometime last year, and the effort has continued into the new year, with paving now taking place on parts of the Queen Mary Highway (Centerline Road) on St. Croix — including a long stretch from the stoplights in Golden Rock straight into downtown Christiansted.
