ST. THOMAS – Community residents are asked to note that the Llanclos bin site has been permanently closed by the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority.
A notice sent by VIWMA on Tuesday indicates that the decision stems from “safety issues and concerns with windblown litter impacting the adjacent cemetery.”
To compensate for the closure, an additional bin has been placed at the Cancryn bin site, WMA says.
The agency apologized for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the closure of the Llanclos bin site, and thanked the public for its cooperation.
