ST. THOMAS — A scheduled electrical service interruption at 9:00 a.m. will affect customers on St. Thomas Feeder 6A and customers on portions of Feeders 7A and 8A. While all customers on 6A will be affected, the outage will only impact 7A customers in the Subbase area and 8A customers from Krum Bay to the Bank Banco Popular main branch in Altona, WAPA said.

The simultaneous outages, which should not exceed 45 minutes in duration, are necessary to allow personnel to restore the electric grid to normal configurations. The normalization of the grid follows restoration work in the aftermath of a fire which compromised a double-circuit pole containing equipment for Feeders 7A and 8A.
