VIPD's Major Crimes Unit Seeking Community's Assistance to Locate 19-Year-Old Man Who Went Missing Sept. 1

ST. THOMAS — The V.I. Police Department is seeking the community's assistance to locate a 19-year-old man reported missing Sunday.

According to the V.I.P.D., on Sunday September 11 a male individual came into the Mariel C. Newton Command and reported that he had not seen or heard from 19-year-old Evonte Rey since September 01, 2022. The male individual also indicated that Rey was a resident at his home for the last few months.     

Rey is described as a 19-year-old black male, dark skinned, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has braided hair and multiple tattoos about his arms and body, the V.I.P.D. said.

Rey is known to frequent the Paul M. Pearson Gardens Housing Community, Contant, and Altona and Welgunst areas, the V.I.P.D. said.
