ST. THOMAS — The V.I. Police Department's Major Crimes Unit is reaching out to family members and associates of a man named Elhadj Y. Diallo. The VIPD did not provide information about the matter, however the department is asking the community to call the Major Crimes Unit at 340-642-8449 or 911 if Diallo is seen.
Diallo is a 27-year-old Black male who was born in New York. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs roughly 150 pounds. According to the V.I.P.D., Diallo's current address is Texas.
Though the department did not provide details regarding why it is seeking to locate Diallo, the involvement of the department's Major Crimes Unit suggests a serious matter.
