VIPD Announces Road Closures For Inaugural Activities on St. Croix and Crucian-Rican Tramp for Wed. Jan. 4

The V.I. Police Department has announced road closures for Wednesday to accommodate inaugural activities on St. Croix for second-term Governor Albert Bryan and Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach. Road closures were also announced for the Crucian-Rican Tramp scheduled for Wednesday morning in Christiansted.

Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

  • King Street vicinity of Florence A. Williams Public Library for Inaugural Activities
  • Company Street and Queen Cross Street
  • Company Street and vicinity of the Market (closed for Crucian-Rican Tramp)

 

Frederiksted

Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Hill Street and Prince Street
  • Market Street and Prince Street (vicinity of St. Patrick Church)
  • Market Street and Hospital Street
  • Market Street and Strand Street

 

According to the V.I.P.D., officers will be available to direct traffic and provide instructions to individuals attending the ceremony.

Additionally, "NO PARKING" signs will also be posted; parking will be available inside the Moravian Church yard, can gain access from Hill Street and New Street. Parking will also be available behind St. Patrick Church and Hospital Street, and the entire Custom House Street and St. Patrick Hall yard.
