The V.I. Police Department in conjunction with several businesses have partnered to host what has been dubbed the “Trunk or Treat” halloween event for the families territory-wide, describing the activity as an effort to provide residents "with a great opportunity to ensure that kids have a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween this year."
Among partners making Trunk or Treat possible are Cost U Less- St. Croix, Karibbean Kutz, Mall of St. Croix (Sunshine Mall), Plaza Extra- East, Pueblo, HIDTA, VI Fire Services, the V.I. Department of Health, the V.I. National Guard, V.I. Edible Task Force, and the West Indian Company (WICO).
Trunk or Treat will take place simultaneously on both St. Thomas and St. Croix on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. The St. Thomas Trunk or Treat event’s date and venue has been changed to Sunday, October 30 from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. adjacent to the former Senor Frog at WICO. On St. Croix, the event will take place at the K-Mart West parking lot.
"This event will support and engage our community to participate in a fun filled safe event to enjoy Halloween," the V.I.P.D. said.
